This is what you see around Temple City. Trees that have had their limbs torn away by the great windstorm of 2011 (Dec. 1, 2011). This one is at Temple City Park next to City Hall. The city lost part of this tree and another tree in the gazebo area that day.
If you drive around town, and around other cities in the San Gabriel Valley severely affected by the windstorm, this is what you'll see quite often.
At least this tree survived.
