This is a classic, an old Fiat. Karen enjoyed checking it out at the LA Auto Show earlier this year. The Fiat 500 is all new for 2011 and it is
now selling in LA. It's back. I've never owned the smart Italian car (or any Italian car for that matter) but maybe it should be my next car. It gets like 38 miles to the gallon. But I remember in the 70s and 80s when Fiats were selling in the U.S., folks in the neighborhood called them F.I.A.Ts: Fix It Again, Tony. They were unreliable. But supposedly, that's all changed. Now that they are combining with Chrysler Motors, the comeback kid of automobile manufacturing. It sounds like it can't miss. They've opened
dealerships in Van Nuys, Ca, that's in the other Valley (the San Fernando Valley). I may just have to check it out. Ciao!
which model is this? i've never seen one before. I mainly know fiat for their commercial vans but this is pretty cool - kind of reminds me of a beetle crossed with a mini.
ReplyDeletethe new Fiats look cool, especially for commuters who drive solo. it does have 4 seats, so hopefully its sales won't go the way of the Smart car.
